Ingenico expands 3C Payment’s partnership to develop new terminal solutions

Ingenico group’s division, Ingenico Enterprise Retail has announced the expansion of its relationship with 3C Payment in a bid to introduce two new terminal solutions for processing payments through the 3C Integra Payment Gateway with Ingenico’s DESK/5000 & MOVE/5000 payment terminal devices.

Lee Jones, Director of Sales and Business Development at Ingenico Enterprise Retail commented, “The way consumers want to pay is evolving, therefore we need to remain ahead of the game to keep our retailers relevant in this ever-changing market. Through this partnership with 3C Payment, we’re creating an even stronger offering to solidify our customers in the future of retail.”

The supplier states that the DESK/5000 solution is designed for luxury hotels and retailers where customers pay in their currency of choice and can opt for Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC). The solution is also expected to support international payment methods including Alipay & We Chat Pay. The MOVE/5000 solution is designed for intensive use within Hospitality environments at Hotels, Bars and Restaurants and supports Pay@Table functionality such as quick recall of open checks & split bill capability.

Craig Borrett, Chief Product Officer at 3C Payment, added, “We are delighted to further enhance the product range between 3C Payment and Ingenico Enterprise Retail through certification of our 3C Integra terminal application with the Ingenico Tetra Desk & Move 5000. Our mutual Pan-European customers will benefit greatly from innovative, secure and flexible payment solutions through a single interface across multiple countries.”

The companies state that will continue to work together for developing P2PE integrated products for improving mutual business opportunities and enabling vertical market coverage.

Recently, Ingenico Enterprise Retail announced that it will launch its open payment solution, OP2GO in North America in 2020.
