Jayesh Sanghrajka, Executive Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Infosys

Tech giant Infosys has appointed Jayesh Sanghrajka as the interim Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, as MD Ranganath steps down today. The board is in the process of selecting the replacement.

Sanghrajha will take over the additional role on 17 November. Currently, he is serving as the Executive Vice President and Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Infosys. Sanghrajka, with over 20 years of experience, is a certified chartered accountant and cost accountant. He has spent 13 years in Infosys over two stints and has performed various leadership roles in the finance function. He started his second stint at the Bengaluru-based firm in December 2012.

Prior to this, Sanghrajka served as the Principal Financial Officer at Rediff.com India Ltd., until February 2012 and also served as its Vice President of Finance from July 2009 to March 2012. He oversaw all global finance functions and have direct responsibility for leading all corporate accounting, tax, investor relations and treasury activities at Rediff.com India Ltd. He was Vice President of Finance at Mu Sigma. He has also worked with companies like KPMG and Tishman Speyer.

In August, Ranganath resigned from his position, bringing his 18 years of experience at Infosys to a close. “I now plan to pursue professional opportunities in new areas,” he said. “I am proud that over the last three years, during a critical phase of the company, we delivered strong and consistent financial outcomes, maintained high standards of financial reporting, built a world-class finance team, further strengthened the company’s competitive position and, thereby, enhanced value to the stakeholders.”
