US-based FlexTrade‘s trading technology has been accredited as an independent software vendor by the New Zealand Exchange. Through the accreditation, FlexTrade’s order management system FlexOMS will be made available to the local and global firms and will assist the firms accessing the Kiwi market with a variety of technology choice.

NZX Executive Director, Markets Development & Clearing, Benjamin Phillips commented: “FlexTrade’s integration with NZX trading technology supports our strategy to increase access and reduce barriers to entry to the New Zealand market, as we work to encourage greater liquidity on our market.”

According to the supplier, FlexOMS aims to provide sell-side institutions with solutions across trading styles and regions. The order management system also simplifies the trading process, right from the client order receipts to the post-trade analytics of execution.

FlexTrade Vice President at the Sydney-based operations covering Australia and New Zealand, Dan Enstedt commented: “It’s an honour to become a certified ISV with NZX. We have worked hard to provide superior technology and customer service to clients. By certifying with the NZX, we can provide valuable services such as direct market access, customised workflows, bespoke algos and improved trade order entry to brokers and traders who wish to trade more efficiently on the exchange.”

Established in 1996 and headquartered in New York, FlexTrade Systems is a provider of order management trading platforms for equities, foreign exchange, options, futures and fixed income.
