FIS launches iQ Now, a mobile app to manage business on the go

Nicole Jass, SVP of Product, North America and International SME at Worldpay

Financial service technology provider FIS has announced that the FinTech has launched iQ Now, a mobile app for Worldpay’s small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) that delivers actionable insights into the health of their business.

The COVID-19 pandemic and government measures to slow its spread has changed the way people work, shop, socialise, do their banking and make payments. The new application launch intends to help merchants manage operation remotely.

With Worldpay iQ Now app, business owners can monitor performance on the go from their mobile devices. It integrates data from banks and third-party financial institutions to provide SMBs with a holistic view of key performance metrics about their business, i.e., from sales and cash flow to refund and dispute activity.

The mobile application is designed to maximise ease-of-use and self-service, featuring simple biometric-based login, push notifications, and all-in-one functionality. Its graphs and reports provide merchants with real-time views of their business performance. iQ Now’s click-and-point functionality allows them to drill down on key metrics such as average sale size and store productivity.

“We built iQ Now from the ground up with the needs of SMBs in mind. As SMBs adjust to social distancing and stay-at-home measures, iQ Now gives critical insights and tools to business owners so they can spend less time on non-productive tasks and gain more control over their business operations in this critical time,” said Nicole Jass, Head of SMB Merchant Products, Worldpay Merchant Solutions, FIS.

iQ Now features unique streamlined “tap-and-snap” workflows which assist merchants in handling disputes and refunds on their own. Business owners can take photos of receipts and documentation with their device’s camera and submit it through the app, thereby removing the need to contact Worldpay’s disputes team.

“iQ Now saves me time by allowing me to quickly access the data I need, such as the trending page and the ability to pull monthly statements in a few simple taps. Whereas before we would need to use multiple applications and reports for this kind of insight, it’s incredible to be able to give our doctors an overview of the health of the business in a single glance at any given time,” said Dawn Lang, Office Manager, Amelia East Family Dentistry.

The application is available for Android and Apple devices and features a series of instructional how-to videos to empower merchants to troubleshoot and resolve common service issues without needing to contact customer support.

Established since 1968, FIS is a provider of technology solutions for merchants, banks and capital markets firms globally. The company recently unveiled its portal to automate SMB Loan Forgiveness process. FIS is a Fortune 500 company and is a member of Standard & Poor’s 500 Index.
