The Fintech & Payments Association of Ireland (FPAI) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with European fintech ecosystem B-Hive which will see both groups collaborate on trends and research.

The two groups signed the deal at Brussels-based event “Shaping the European Fintech Ecosystem”, organised jointly by FPAI and the Banking & Payments Federation of Ireland.

“As B-Hive aims to work directly with European organizations in order to make the region stronger together, we are pleased with the signing of this MoU alongside FPAI, and we greatly look forward to working together on extending not only our knowledge sharing, but also our network through mutual collaboration,” said Fabian Vandenreydt, executive chairman of B-Hive.

Michael Concannon, head of strategy and development for FPAI, added: “We are delighted to formally engage with B-Hive as we grow our European presence and look forward to strengthening our collective knowledge pool, network and innovative endeavours.”
