Dozens partners with Visa to issue Visa cards to its UK customers

DozensLondon-based challenger fintech Dozens said on Tuesday it is partnering with Visa to issue Visa cards to all its new and existing customers across the United Kingdom.

It launched its operations in January this year with current accounts, budgeting and saving tools on UK app stores. It offers its customers detailed tracking of their spending, an investment manager, current account, budgeting tool all in one app, along with cash rewards for good financial behaviour.

Dozens’ customers can use their mango Visa debit card for domestic and international payments, paying for free abroad, splitting bills among other things, it said in a statement.

The deal with Visa will give Dozens its own bank identification number and will facilitate future product development and expansion into new markets, it added.

Dozens was founded by Aritra Chakravarty who previously spent 13 years at HSBC across M&A, strategy, private banking & digital wealth management. It is licensed as an e-money institution and an investment firm.
