Currencycloud appoints new CPO for strengthening talent development

Payments platform Currencycloud has announced the appointment of Barbera De Jong as its new Chief People Officer (CPO) in a bid to strengthen its talent development team as well as its expansion strategy. The supplier states that Barbera will supervise the increasing headcount across London, Cardiff, New York, Lviv, and Amsterdam.

Previously, Barbera joined the payments platform as a non-executive director in December 2018. She held talent management as well as learning and development roles at Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Ad Value, and Bull Benelux.

Recently, Currencycloud partnered with Visa Inc. to drive further innovation in cross-border and travel payments.

Established in 2012 in the UK, Currencycloud is a global payments platform that aims to simplify the process of moving money with APIs and customized payment solutions.
