Cred announces the appointment of its CFO and General Counsel

San Francisco-based crypto-backed lending and borrowing platform Cred has announced the appointment of Joe Podulka as the new Chief Financial Officer and Dan Wheeler as the General Counsel.

Joe has previously worked at eBay/PayPal for 11 years in a variety of roles in the US and abroad. He has experience in broad finance and analytics from his roles as the CFO, VP Finance at Hearst Communications.

Dan, prior to working at Cred, was a partner in the international law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, a past Chairman of the Financial Institutions Committee of the California State Bar as well as a past President of the San Francisco Bank Attorneys Association.

Established in 2018 in San Francisco, Cred is a decentralized global lending platform with an aim to utilize blockchain for the benefit of financial services. It focuses on providing open access to credit across the globe.
