BTG pactual partners with Jumio to automate its onboarding process

California based Jumio which is an AI-powered trusted identity as a service provider, has partnered with Brazilian investment bank BTG Pactual. This partnership will help the Investment banks’ clients with the automation of the existing onboarding process. The top priority for the Latin America based investment bank was to connect with a supplier who could provide with an identity verification solution with face-matching technology, alongside the ability to process Brazilian ID documents.

The California based startup was selected because of its ability to offer mature solution for the Brazilian market Second, Jumio could provide verified data of multiple types , it could also provide BTG with government-issued IDs including passports, driver’s licenses and ID cards.

In the past year, Jumio has established a new sales office in Brazil and a Jumio SAS operations center in Barranquilla, Colombia.
