Blockchain to test new buying method following Coinify partnership

Bitcoin wallet provider Blockchain has started beta-testing a new feature that will help users fund their accounts almost instantaneously. The new system is a result of a recent partnership between the firm and Danish FinTech startup Coinify.

The new in-wallet buying feature is designed to get around the usual methods of purchasing Bitcoins, which usually comes with high fees, identity verification problems and more. The new tool will be rolled out in the UK initially with other countries on the horizon.

“For the first time, users will not be subject to the delays, complexities, and security risks that have plagued digital currency adoption in the past,” says Peter Smith, CEO of Blockchain. “This partnership will make our wallet infinitely more user-friendly and, ultimately, more accessible for the mass market.”
