Avaloq launches new FinTech developer portal

Avaloq has launched a new developer portal aimed at freelancers, startups, FinTechs and banks “of all sizes”. The dedicated portal, hosted via the Avaloq website, has been created to enable developers to “become more creative and efficient” when building apps integrated with the Avaloq Banking Suite. They’ll be given access to software and documentation, like API frameworks, to create new user interfaces. Questions can also be shared with the community.

“There are two key reasons for opening the developer portal. Firstly, developers will contribute to a higher standard of financial services by adding new ideas and helping to further develop user experience on the basis of the industry leading Avaloq Banking Suite,” says Thomas Beck, Group CTO at Avaloq. “In addition, banks will be able to make use of the joint innovation to enhance their digital client experience and augment products.”

Avaloq plans to “enhance” the portal following launch with the help of user feedback.
