Argentinian Banco Galicia adopts Strands’ Digital Banking Technology

Erik Brieva, CEO, Strands

Argentina-based private Bank Banco Galicia has implemented the personal finance management solution by Florida-based software provider, Strands.

According to the Fintech firm, the Strands Personal Finance Management (PFM) solution will provide more innovative and personalized digital banking.

The tool has been integrated with the bank’s existing systems to offer custom-made functionalities.

“With this new application, we analyze all the income and expenses information, giving the user the possibility to better understand how he spends his money. For example, we help our customers to have all their consumptions sorted on the cell phone since it automatically groups the expenses into categories so that they can be better managed, ” Fernando Giannoni, Digital Channel Manager of Banco Galicia said.

Pablo Gutierrez Oyhanarte, Manager of Move Banco Galicia, commented, “…the application provides clients with a more detailed system to manage their transactions which, in the long run, becomes a tool for financial education.”
Erik Brieva, CEO of Strands added that the collaboration will help the bank attract new customers and will also enable it to retain and strengthen them.

Strands is a Fintech software company that develops solutions for banks and merchants to help them increase customer engagement and generate new revenue through digital channels. Strands uses big data and machine learning expertise to develop AI-based, customizable digital money management software that empowers people and SMEs to manage their lives and make better financial decisions.
