Germany-based next-generation acquiring services provider AEVI and payments provider Ingenico, have partnered in order to supplement AEVI’s App Marketplace with Ingenico‘s payment and customer engagement platforms. The partnership is expected to provide Ingenico with access to AEVI’s marketplace comprising of value-added apps and services for merchant customers.

According to the supplier, AEVI’s open ecosystem provides flexibility to the merchant payment solutions provider. The current agreement comes under AEVI Enablement Program wherein acquirers are enabled to provide tailored suites of applications and services. The agreement aims to expand AEVI’s interaction and reach to acquirers and payment solution providers. It is expected to expand the company’s distribution channel for app partners.

Established in 2015, AEVI aims to empower merchant payment solution providers to move and manage their classic payments proposition into a new value world of apps, payments and smart devices.
