Ahli United Bank and EdgeVerve to automate banking processes

Kuwait-based Ahli United Bank has selected Infosys’ subsidiary EdgeVerve Systems with an aim to automate the bank’s processes utilising EdgeVerve’s AssistEdge RPA platform. The RPA platform is expected to improve Ahli’s service level agreements(SLAs), minimalize manual work and errors, and aims to increase the efficiency of the banking processes.

Ms Jehad Al Humaidhi, Deputy CEO Banking Support Group, Ahli United Bank, Kuwait, said, “We are thrilled to implement Robotics. We have been continuously focused on enhancing the overall customer experience and digitalization remains at the core of our strategy. We have always endeavoured to introduce new innovations, bringing efficiencies to customer’s financial value chain through futuristic technologies like Robotics, Biometric Identification, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. With the introduction of Robotics, banking operations will be streamlined and we will derive major cost efficiencies.”

The platform, as the supplier states, provides robots to automate the menial and repetitive process, provides robots around process discovery, intelligent automation and orchestration.

Founded in 1967, Alhi United Bank is a commercial and retail bank located in Kuwait City.
